Government Degree College for Women, Pulivendula, located in YSR Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh was established as per GOMS No: 20, Higher Education (CE) Department Dated: 20-06-2022 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Pulivendula is a town in the YSR Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, India, known for its rich history and cultural significance.

Pulivendula has a growing economy with various industries, including textiles and manufacturing. The town has good infrastructure, with wide roads, an underground drainage system, and a ring road. It is connected to Kadapa by a four-lane road and has bus services to major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
